Michael articled with the firm and returned as an associate in 2011. He has broad civil litigation practice.
Michael obtained his law degree from the University of Toronto. He also has a Master's degree in English and Cultural Studies from McMaster University, as well as degrees in Biology and English from the University of Prince Edward Island.
As a law student at the University of Toronto, Michael acted as co-director of Advocates for Injured Workers, a legal clinic focused on WSIB issues run in conjunction with Legal Aid Ontario. He also acted as co-editor-in-chief of the Journal of Law & Equality.
